For those of you who have never been at a preciusion competition, I wanted to present a visual idea of what it's about. Late last year I asked if there were any photos taken of either of Santa Rosa teams during last years "Coasts". Snoopy's Groupies' secretary came through with a roll and a half of prints. Out of those we selected about a dozen for use here. I would like to have had the junior team profiled, as they do more as a group than the adults, but photos are not available.

This team skated last year under the name of "Sonoma Sensations". They made a comeback , and have continued to work hard. The team members in these photos are adults, aged from under 20 to over 70. One is a Special "Olympian".

It's a major task to rebuild a team from a core of 4 steady skaters back up to competition size. This is enough of a task with children, but this team is working with skaters with an age range that spans 50 years, and skating experience that ranges from about three years to 70. They accomplishd their task last year, and even placed second in their division. This year, those of you who have seen them before, should see quite a different team.
