1996 Pacific Coast Precision Championships

To all Participating Teams:

Thank you all for filling out and promptly returning the competition forms. We have 28 teams participating in Pacific Coasts this year. Good luck to all.

Enclosed you will find an Official Notice regarding clothing and skate blades for precision competition. Please read this carefully. Also enclosed are the practice ice and competition schedules.

Opening Ceremonies will be held around noon. Each team should select two skaters to carry the team banner. Have skaters ready to put on skates 30 minutes before opening.

Each team should find a note regarding competition forms. Any missing items that need to be resolved with the Registrar will be listed on this note. All forms must be complete before the start of the competition.

The shuttle bus will have two routes - one from the Holiday Inn to Iceland and the other from the Holiday Inn to the Days Inn to the Emeryville Public Market (site of numerous restaurants). The busses will start running about 1 hour before the first practice ice time on Friday and Saturday. Teams with early ice times may request a specific departure time. More information on the bus will be sent soon.

Maps of Berkeley with the exact location and the best routes will be available at the Registration Desk. The driving time from the Holiday Inn to the rink should be 10 to 15 minutes. Local teams should park at the Holiday Inn and carpool. Parking at the rink will be very difficult.

The registration desk will be at the Holiday Inn from 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday and on Thursday evening from 7 to 10 PM. We are looking forward to seeing all of you in February.
