The Santa Rosa Figure Skating Club was founded in 1938. With over 200 members, SRFSC is one of about 450 clubs of the United States Figure Skating Association and our mission is to support the development of all aspects of amateur figure skating in the areas of competition, recreation, and individual character development.

Due to the lack of a quorum, the March SRFSC board meeting has been postponed to next Wednesday, March 19. 

We are thrilled to share that the registration for Crystalline Classic on April 26-27, 2025 is now live. In addition to the showcase events, we will be offering the Excel Series events. Please visit this link to register: https://m.usfigureskating.org/competition/35888

Spring Show participation cost is due this Monday, February 24.  Show participation costs are as follows:

• First Skater: $225
• Additional Family Member(s): $175 each
• Synchro Skaters (PS, VF, CR): $125

There are several ways available to pay the participation cost - online ahead of time through Sports Engine (visit https://srfsc.sportngin.com/register/form/464652770 and login to the Members Only Section, service fees apply) OR via our attached QR code using credit card or Apple Pay OR at the Monday membership desk via Venmo, cash, check, or Shows QR code... if there is a notes field, please be sure to note the skater(s) names and that the payment is for Ice Show participation.

Measurements for Costumes: Please complete the Costume Measurements sheet (attached) by this Monday, February 24.  You can scan your completed form and reply to this email, or bring with you to Ice Show Practice on Monday to turn in to me (Emily Conner).  If you need help measuring, I will be available with measuring tapes in the Warm Puppy 2/24 from 5-6pm.

Skater/ Parent Meeting: A brief skater/ parent meeting will be held in the Warm Puppy on Monday, February 24 from 6-6:30pm, where we will review much of the information from the Welcome email and our Ice Shows Handbook.  This meeting is not mandatory, but may be most helpful to skaters and parents who are new to SRFSC Ice Shows. 

Pacific Stars synchro season is underway. Teams will be performing at Crystalline and the SRFSC Spring Show.

US Figure Skating does require birthdates for both skaters and parents.

Sessions, Fall 2024

We are excited to kick off our new club season with our Monday afternoon sessions from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Please bring cash or a check payable to SRFSC (note, we will be offering online payments in the coming weeks. Stay turned!). 

The weekly schedule will be as follows:

• 4:00 - 4:30: Freestyle, $10 (24 skaters max)
• 4:30 - 5:00: Freestyle, $10 (24 skaters max)
• 5:00 - 5:30: Freestyle, $10 (24 skaters max)
• 5:30 - 6:00: Show rehearsals * 
• 6:00 - 7:00: Vintage Figures, $20 (coach fees paid separately) and Classic Rockers, $25 (includes coach fees). NOTE: Classic Rockers is also open to new members, Basic 5 and above, 18 and over!

* August 19 will be show auditions; if you did not audition on August 12, please attend on August 19! After the 19th, this session will be devoted to show rehearsals. 

We have LOTS of exciting opportunities in the works for the coming season, so please keep an eye on emails, social media, and the club website for more details in the upcoming weeks!
