PAYMENT POLICY:
All sessions are on Monday afternoons/evenings, unless otherwise stated. To get the best deal you must pre-pay for the entire month of Mondays on the first Monday of the month. There are drop-in rates that are significantly higher than pre-paying.

Spring Show: The dates for the spring show are May 16, 17 & 18.
CCIA Competition: We have been awarded the 2008 CCIA Competition! The dates are June 20 - 22. This is a technical competition and we will be using the IJS system.


CLUB SESSIONS FOR THE REST OF THE CLUB YEAR
There is only one freestyle during club sessions for the remainder of the club year, the rest of the time is reserved for spring show rehearsal: Mondays 4:30 - 5:15pm

Rehearsals as follows:

Mon 5/12 5:15 - 7:00 ENTIRE CAST (excluding cold spots)
Please arrive at the arena NO LATER THAN 5:00 PM!
We will rehearse in costume, hair and makeup in the following order:
GRAND FINALE (skaters must be ready promptly at 5:15!)
FOSSE
GREASE
LION KING
BYE BYE BIRDIE/HAIRSPRAY
ANNIE GET YOUR GUN

Wed, May 14 4:30 - 7:00 ENTIRE CAST (including cold spots)

MONDAY CLUB SESSIONS after 5:15pm are TEMPORARILY ON HIATUS DUE TO SPRING SHOW REHEARSALS

Beginning October 1 Choreography with Melissa Johnson. 6:30 - 7:00pm. The ice will be shared with Basic Skills.
The cost will be $17.00 per week, pre pay. $20.00 walk on.

4:30 - 5:15 Club Freestyle session
- $11.00 per week if you pay on the first Monday of the month or $15.00 drop in.
24 skaters allowed on the ice.

5:15 - 6:00 Club Freestyle session - $11.00 per week if you pay on the first Monday of the month or $15.00 drop in.
24 skaters allowed on the ice.

6:00 - 6:30 Stroking/Edge class
- $17:00 per week if you pay on the first Monday of the month or $20.00 drop in.

6:30 - 7:00 Basic Skills* - $17.00 per week if you pay on the first Monday of the month or $20.00 drop in.

You MUST pay the first Monday of the month for the entire month if you are going to get the pre pay price. We are going to hold fast this year and not let anyone on the ice who hasn't paid. Lori spent too much time running around trying to collect from those who hadn't yet paid. You also MUST be a club member to skate on these sessions, no exceptions.
 

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS: A minimum of students is required to hold these classes. 
This will be evaluated and class size determined by the coaches.

Skate With Us: Skill level will be determined by coaches.
1. Basic Skills units 1 - 8

The introduction to fundamental basic skills moves includes forward and backward skating variations, stopping, inside and
outside edges, crossovers, turns, and combination moves.
Instructors: Michelle Van Dyke and Choeleen Loundagin

2. Freestyle Levels 1 - 6
The introduction to freestyle moves includes jumps, spins and other athletic moves.
Instructors: Colleen Phillips and Ainis Lejins

Stroking /Footwork:
Stroking:
Class designed to help promote strength and power along with cardiovascular exercise and technique.
Footwork: Instructor incorporates choreography, edges, footwork and upper body movement into the MIF patterns. 
This is an excellent class for all skaters in Freestyle, Synchronized Team Skating, Pairs and/or Free dance.
Level requirements:
Level I: Skaters have not passed Juvenile Moves in the Field and above.
Level II: Skaters have passed Juvenile Moves in the Field and above
Instructors: Michelle Van Dyke, Ainis Lejins or Paul Spruell

Beginning Dance:
Group instruction to introduce basic dance steps, timing and patterns of preliminary and pre- bronze dances.
Level requirements: Very beginners through Pre-Juvenile moves, skaters will be divided into two group levels in this class.
Instructors: Ainis Lejins &/or Paul Spruell

Intermediate Dance:
Level requirements: Group instruction for skaters at Juvenile Moves in the Field level and/or at Bronze Dance level and above.
Instructor: Paul Spruell
